GIRDLES

                Looking for something special for your wife for Valentine’s Day? How about a girdle? Just kidding, I will not be responsible for the harm that will come to you if you give your wife a girdle and she thinks that means she is fat! Instead of giving your wife a girdle how about seeing if she can help you learn about some girdles worn by men of God in the Bible.

                Rather than tell you to love your wife on Valentine’s Day (You are supposed to do that all the time!), I thought I would share some interesting things about wives in the Bible. Hope you will take the time to look up the answers; and I hope it will help you realize that all marriages have to deal with, and learn to adapt to, less than perfect conditions.

 What will happen to your children when the Rapture occurs?

      A) Before the Age of Accountability: (See David’s Baby in 2 Sam 12:23)

            1. Christian Parent- Indications are these children will go in the Rapture- For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. (1 Corinthians 7:14). Noah’s children (even though they were past the age of accountability) were saved with him in the ark. Lot’s children who were in his home escaped with him from Sodom.

            2. Non Christian Parent- Indications are that these children will remain for the Tribulation- All “non Christian” children (as well as everyone else) died in the flood, in Sodom, and while the Promised Land was being conquered.

      B) After the Age of Accountability: Indications are that such children (regardless of the salvation status of their Parents) will stay for the Tribulation. Some of Lot’s children chose to stay in Sodom. God’s program has always been to allow those who could accept Him to willingly make the decision to accept Him.
